What’s on in Bristol – February

Happy Chinese New Year! We hope you enjoyed a fantastic celebration to welcome the beginning of the Year of the Monkey.

February is the shortest month of the year but somehow, Bristol packs in more than ever to keep us warm, dry and entertained throughout the end of winter. There’s something here to suit every taste, interest and budget.

 

February 1-April 10: Gromit Unleashed, Cribbs Causeway.

An exhibition of sculptures of our favourite stop-animated dog, designed by artists, designers and celebrities.

 

February 6-7: Chinese New Year: Monkey, Bristol Museum.

Welcome in the Year of the Monkey and explore Chinese culture through exhibitions, workshops, stalls and activities.

 

February 6-12: Howl’s Moving Castle, The Watershed.

An incredible animated adventure from master Japanese animator, Hayao Miyazaki.

 

February 12-14: BBC 6 Music Festival, Locations across Bristol.

Celebrating the very best in British Alternative music, with a strong emphasis on artists from Bristol.

 

February 15-20: Thriller – Live, Bristol Hippodrome Theatre.

Straight from a successful West-End run, this is a spectacular concert celebrating the music of the world’s greatest performer.

 

February 20: World of Wine Tasting Experience, Goldbrick house.

A full day’s experience for the absolute beginner or the budding wine enthusiast.

 

February 27: Bristol Comedy Club, Holiday Inn, Bristol City Centre.

An evening of laughter from some of the nation’s best comedians.
