What’s on in Bristol – January

Happy New Year! We wish you all a happy and healthy 2016.
January can be a quiet month – we’ve all run out of money and eaten too much over the holidays, not to mention eagerly trying to keep our new year’s resolutions. But Bristol doesn’t stop and we have some great events lined up for this month.
January 13-30: The Bodyguard, Bristol Hippodrome.
An award-winning musical based on the blockbuster film.
January 16: World of Wine Tasting Experience, Goldbrick House.
A full day’s experience, for the absolute beginner or budding wine enthusiast!
January 21-24: Slapstick Festival, Various locations.
A Bristol-based comedy event, with features at the Colston Hall and Watershed.
January 21-February 6: Jane Eyre, Bristol Old Vic.
Based on the novel by Charlotte Brontë.
January 23: Burns Night Charity Ball, Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel.
Celebrate Burns night in style. Including cocktails, 4 course meal and dicso.
January 29-30: Bristol Winter Cider Festival, Brunels Old Passenger Shed – Temple Meads.
Sample over 100 ciders and perries along with a hog roast and cheese platters. Somersets premier Wurzels tribute band The Mangledwurzels will be entertaining.
